Common risks with customer data

No proof of consent

There is no record of who gave permission, when, and through which channel.

Deletion requests handled by hand

When a request arrives, finding and deleting every copy of the record takes days.

Everyone sees everything

Any sales rep can access all customer data; there is no separation of access.

Emails without permission

People who withdrew consent keep receiving bulk emails.

KVKK tools in CRModular

Consent records

Consent type, source, date and IP address recorded per contact and lead.

Deletion and anonymisation

When a deletion request is executed, matching contact and lead records are anonymised and the address is unsubscribed.

Data inventory

Document which personal data you process and for what purpose, inside the CRM.

Role-based access

Record-level visibility with profiles, permission sets, a role hierarchy and sharing rules; two-factor sign-in can be required company-wide.

Email suppression

People who withdrew consent or unsubscribed are excluded from bulk emails and cadences; every email carries an unsubscribe link.

Change history

Changes to records are stored with who made them and when.

All consents on one screen

Each consent is listed with its type, status and date; withdrawn consents are shown separately and those addresses receive no bulk email.

Frequently asked questions

What is KVKK?

KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu, Law No. 6698) is Turkey’s personal data protection law. It applies to companies that process personal data of people in Turkey, including customer and prospect data kept in a CRM.

Is CRModular KVKK compliant?

CRModular provides tools to run KVKK processes such as consent records, deletion requests, a data inventory and access control. Compliance comes from using these tools correctly together with your organisation’s processes; it is not a substitute for legal advice.

How is a deletion request executed?

When a deletion request is executed, contact and lead records matching the email address are anonymised, the address is removed from mailing lists and the request record itself is anonymised.

Is the application available in English?

The CRModular application interface is currently in Turkish. This website and its documentation are available in English, and menu names in our help articles are shown in Turkish with an English explanation.
