Sales Cadence

A sales cadence is a planned sequence of emails, calls and tasks to run on set days with a lead or customer.

A sales cadence runs contact with a lead or customer through pre-planned steps, each with a set day and type.

Example cadence

  1. Day 1: introduction email
  2. Day 3: phone call
  3. Day 5: LinkedIn message
  4. Day 8: email with a case study

Why it matters

Most deals come after several follow-ups, and consistent follow-up cannot rely on a rep’s memory. A cadence makes it standard and measurable.

Things to watch

Automated emails must respect the recipient’s consent and right to unsubscribe. In Turkey, commercial electronic message rules and KVKK apply.

In CRModular

Cadences are built from email, call and task steps; email steps are personalised and every email includes an unsubscribe link. People who unsubscribed or withdrew consent receive no cadence emails.
