Importing Data from Excel or CSV

Import accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities and products from Excel or CSV in the right order, without creating duplicates.

The CRModular interface is currently in Turkish. Menu and button names are shown in bold Turkish with an English explanation in brackets.

Imports are done on Ayarlar → Veri Yönetimi (Settings → Data management).

Order matters

Relationships are built in this order: Products → Accounts → Contacts → Leads → Opportunities. If you import contacts before their accounts, they cannot be linked to a company.

1. Duplicate rules first

Define duplicate rules before importing. For example, exact match on tax number for accounts and on email for contacts → action Block or Alert.

2. Prepare the file

  • Put column headers in the first row.
  • Use a separate file or sheet per object.
  • Remove duplicate and empty rows.
  • Keep dates in a single format.

3. Start the import

  1. İçe Aktarma Başlat (Start import): choose a job name, target object and file.
  2. Check the field mapping in the preview.
  3. Choose a mode: Yeni Kayıt Ekle (insert), Mevcut Kayıtları Güncelle (update) or Varsa Güncelle, Yoksa Ekle (upsert). For update modes, pick the matching key field (e.g. email).
  4. Set Yinelenenleri atla (skip duplicates) and Hatalı satırları atla (skip error rows), then click Oluştur ve Başlat (Create and start).

4. Review the result

The Detaylar (Details) screen shows successful and failed rows. Fix the failed rows and re-import only those.

5. Data quality

With Veri Kalitesi Kuralları (Data quality rules) define and run required, unique, format (regex) and range rules, then clean up violations.

If your plan’s contact limit is exceeded, extra contact records are not added.

Check

Do record counts match the source file? Are the fields right on 10 random records?
